Aircall vs JustCall

Seat floors and workflow fit.

Verified 2 Oct 20266 min read

Aircall and JustCall both sell business calling with messaging, CRM connectivity, analytics, and AI-related features. The decision should turn on the plan your team actually needs, the number of paid seats, its calling regions, and implementation requirements. Aircall's United States pricing page lists Essentials from $30 per license per month when billed annually and a three-license minimum. JustCall's selected United States/Canada pricing view lists Team at $29 per user per month when billed annually and a two-license minimum. These are entry-plan figures, not complete costs or equivalent feature bundles. 12

At those displayed annual-billing rates, the minimum license subtotal is $90 per month for three Aircall Essentials seats and $58 per month for two JustCall Team seats, before taxes, extra numbers, add-ons, and chargeable usage. This is arithmetic from the cited pages, not a quote for your business. If you need three users, comparing three Aircall seats with only two JustCall seats would be misleading. Ask for written quotes at the same user count and region. 12

Catalog sizes are vendor claims about their own products, not a measure of integration quality. A connector can exist and still require a higher plan, a specific CRM edition, administrator permissions, or fields that your team has not configured. Test the actual workflows that matter, such as logging calls, matching contacts, and keeping recordings linked to the right CRM record.

Pricing: compare the plan that contains your requirements

Aircall's pricing page lists Professional from $50 per license per month and the same three-license minimum as Essentials. It also lists one local or toll-free number included per plan and $6 per additional number per month in the captured United States table. Those details affect the subscription floor if the team needs multiple local numbers or a Professional-only capability. Request the current regional quote and term sheet rather than treating the starting rate as an invoice total. 1

JustCall's pricing page lists Pro at $49 per user per month billed annually and shows a two-license minimum. The same page lists 500 SMS segments, but the fair-use text excludes messages sent through workflows, bulk campaigns, and CRM automations from the included messaging allowance. If your team relies on automated texting, model that usage separately before deciding which displayed entry price is lower. 2

A useful cost worksheet has rows for licensed users, phone numbers, calling destinations, included and chargeable minutes, SMS segments, automation traffic, analytics tier, AI usage, implementation, taxes, and support. Populate each row from a plan-specific quote. The advertised license price answers only one row. In particular, an unlimited label should be read alongside the vendor's fair-use and destination terms, not as a promise that every route is included.

Calling and messaging scope

Aircall's table describes unlimited domestic outbound calling in the United States and Canada with a terms asterisk. It says SMS is available in 14 countries across North America, Europe, and Australia, while MMS is limited to US, Canadian, and Australian numbers. Availability and rates for a particular number and destination should be checked in the selected plan before deployment. 1

JustCall's pricing text excludes toll-free, premium-rate, shared-service, international, and forwarded calls. Its included SMS similarly excludes workflow, bulk-campaign, and CRM-automation messages. These exclusions matter more than headline minutes for teams whose actual traffic is international or automated. 2

Neither comparison establishes that a particular campaign is lawful to call or text. Phone-number permissions, recording consent, sender registration, and telemarketing restrictions vary by place and use case. Have the legal and telecom administrators review the intended routes and message types before enabling them. A vendor feature page is not a legal opinion.

CRM integration and implementation

Aircall's official integration page says its HubSpot connector can log calls and SMS to contacts, deals, and tickets. Its Salesforce page says the Salesforce integration is available on Aircall Professional and with Salesforce Enterprise or Unlimited. A team on Essentials should not assume the Salesforce workflow is included just because Aircall advertises a broad integration catalog. 341

JustCall's HubSpot guide describes syncing data and logging calls and messages. Its Salesforce setup guide says the integration requires JustCall Pro or above and Salesforce API access for users. It also says the embedded CTI experience requires Salesforce Lightning. Those prerequisites belong in the implementation estimate, especially if an organization still uses a different Salesforce edition or interface. 56

Before signing, run a short acceptance test in a non-production CRM. Confirm contact matching, call and message logging, disposition mapping, permission boundaries, recording links, and failure handling. Record which behavior is native, which needs configuration, and which needs a paid tier. Both vendors may support the same CRM name while producing a different day-to-day workflow.

Analytics, recordings, and AI

Aircall's pricing table lists up to six months of basic analytics data. Its recording row describes up to one year of access by request, with six months available in the dashboard. The current plan display also lists 50 AI Voice Agent minutes per month. Those are distinct products and retention rules: analytics history, recording access, and AI usage should not be treated as a single unlimited entitlement. 1

JustCall's pricing page lists call recording, advanced analytics and reporting, and a multi-channel AI notetaker, but the captured page does not tie each one to a plan. It also does not establish the same recording-retention period as Aircall's table, so a like-for-like retention comparison needs plan-specific confirmation. Check how transcripts, AI outputs, and recordings are retained and who can access them before purchasing for a regulated workflow. 2

Which one fits?

Aircall is a plausible first evaluation for a team that needs its HubSpot workflow, can meet the three-seat floor, and values the documented Aircall recording and analytics terms. JustCall is a plausible first evaluation for a two-seat team or one that wants its listed SMS segment allowance, provided the selected region and exclusion rules match its traffic. These are conditional buying judgments from each vendor's published scope, not an independent quality ranking. 123

If Salesforce is central, compare the required paid tier and CRM prerequisites before comparing prices. Aircall documents Professional plus Salesforce Enterprise or Unlimited; JustCall documents Pro or above, API access, and Lightning for embedded CTI. Ask both vendors to demonstrate the exact workflow with your data and permission model. 46
