LeadsBridge vs WhatConverts vs Ruler

Which sends CRM wins?.

Verified 12 Oct 20269 min read

The short answer

If the job is to send a CRM outcome back to an ad platform, the destination matters before the dashboard. LeadsBridge documents conversion sync to Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn, while its August 2026 guide sends readers to a waiting list for Google Offline Conversions. WhatConverts documents qualified lead and value triggers for Google Ads. Ruler documents Google Ads API uploads tied to CRM stages and revenue. Choose the path you can trace from the original ad click to the right sales event, then test one real record before making it a production signal.

  • For several non-Google ad destinations: start with LeadsBridge's documented Conversion Sync options, then confirm the precise CRM and event bridge you need. 12
  • For lead qualification in Google Ads: inspect WhatConverts' trigger and status screens, particularly if your team also needs call, form and chat records. 4
  • For Google Ads stages and closed revenue: examine Ruler's click-ID capture, API setup and opportunity-stage configuration with its onboarding team. 6

1. Decide what must travel back to the ad account

An offline conversion workflow has at least two directions. A lead arrives and becomes a CRM record; later, a qualification, opportunity or sale needs to become a conversion event in an ad account. LeadsBridge calls its inbound direction Lead Sync and describes Conversion Sync separately. WhatConverts says its CRM integrations send lead data into the CRM and pull quote or sales value back. Ruler says it matches conversions with CRM data and sends stage signals to ad platforms. The distinction matters because a connector that gets a form submission into a CRM has not, by that fact alone, established the return path for a won deal. 136

The table is a source-backed shortlist, not a claim that every CRM, event and account setting works together. For LeadsBridge, its own recent integration guide is narrower than older material about Google. Treat the waiting-list statement as the buying constraint and ask the vendor to show the exact Google destination in a live account if that destination is essential. For WhatConverts and Ruler, test the trigger and match record in your own ad account before relying on a conversion for reporting. 1246

2. LeadsBridge: a connector whose Google path needs checking

LeadsBridge describes Lead Sync as moving new ad leads to a CRM, email tool or warehouse. Its Conversion Sync row says offline sales go back to Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn. The same guide describes Performance Booster as telling Meta which leads became customers. This is a fit to investigate when several ad destinations and CRM segments need explicit bridges, especially when the target is among the destinations named on the current page. 1

The most important limitation is stated on that vendor page: readers looking at Google Offline Conversions integrations are directed to join a waiting list. The page also makes a broad statement about sending sales data to Google, so the specific waitlist line should govern a Google purchase decision until the vendor demonstrates an active path. Do not confuse Google's lead-form-to-CRM direction with CRM-to-Google offline conversion upload. 1

LeadsBridge's pricing page lists a free plan with one running bridge, while Starter lists Facebook Conversions API and LinkedIn Conversions API. The same page says each Offline Conversion API event is a bridge. That makes event count a concrete question for a trial: map each stage you intend to return, count the running bridges, and ask which plan carries the needed destination. Its integration guide lists automatic retries after a failed sync in Pro, another entitlement to verify for a live workflow. 12

Where LeadsBridge falls short

Its recent guide does not provide a confirmed self-service Google offline conversion route; it points to the waitlist. Its bridge counting also means a design with several conversion events should be costed as several bridges under the vendor's stated rule. Neither point makes its Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn documentation disappear. It means the evaluation must start with the exact destination and event inventory. 12

Migration difficulty

Write down the source CRM object, conversion event and destination for every bridge before moving. Test a new lead and a later sales event separately. The vendor's own price-page definition says an Offline Conversion API event is a bridge, so an apparently simple migration can involve multiple running bridges when the team wants multiple stage events. This is an implementation check, not a measured time estimate. 2

3. WhatConverts: qualification and value before Google Ads upload

WhatConverts' help center gives a fairly inspectable Google Ads path. It says the integration sends qualified leads back to Google, captures a GCLID when auto-tagging is enabled, and sends conversions according to configured triggers. The documented triggers include sales value, quote value and a Quotable field. Teams can choose which event represents useful progress instead of assuming every raw inquiry should be sent. 4

The CRM side is also explicit. WhatConverts says its CRM integrations push leads into the CRM and pull quote and sales value back into its platform. Its Google help page says sales or quote values can accompany conversions, and it documents enhanced conversions with hashed first-party contact data. That gives an evaluator three separate records to reconcile: the lead in WhatConverts, its later value in the CRM, and the conversion received in Google Ads. 34

For operations, the help page lists pending, successful click conversion and error statuses, with error details available in the interface. Its Pending description says Google requires a six-hour wait, so a pending item should not be labeled a failed upload simply because it has not appeared yet. Its pricing table places the Google Ads integration in Plus and lists Plus at $60 per month for a single account, with a $30 usage credit on that plan. This is a plan-table statement, not an estimate of final monthly cost; tracked activity and the required number of accounts should be checked against a real usage pattern. 45

Where WhatConverts falls short

The documented Google connection is one way from WhatConverts to Google Ads. The CRM integration is a separate return path into WhatConverts, so a buyer must verify that the exact CRM field and value used by the sales team arrive before the Google trigger fires. The vendor documents several triggers, but the presence of a trigger in help text alone does not prove a particular team's CRM mapping is ready. 34

Migration difficulty

Run a record through the chain: ad click with GCLID, lead creation, CRM qualification or value update, then Google conversion status. WhatConverts documents both GCLID capture and statuses, which makes that sequence auditable in a trial. Use a marked test event and check the error state before enabling the same trigger for all leads. 4

4. Ruler Analytics: CRM stages through a Google Ads API workflow

Ruler's Google playbook describes collecting GCLID and GBRAID from landing-page URLs and matching the resulting conversions with CRM data. It names MQL and SQL as stage signals. It also says a deal in the CRM can be linked back to a campaign and keyword and the revenue sent to Google Ads. Its offline conversion page adds that it can send offline conversion IDs back to ad platforms. That is a broader stage-and-revenue path to evaluate if the team wants the ad account to receive more than an initial lead. 67

The playbook describes an API setup in which Ruler can create conversion actions or sync with ones the advertiser created. It says each event to track needs a Google Ads offline conversion. The upload can be automated daily through the API, and the vendor says its onboarding manager helps configure that transfer. Those steps make implementation help part of the buying discussion, especially if stage names and account permissions are controlled by different teams. 6

Ruler's pricing page labels prices indicative and says they scale with monthly traffic, product, data and integration requirements. Its Small tier is listed for up to 10,000 monthly visits, from $400 per month on monthly billing; the page also shows $360 per month with annual billing. Treat those as published starting figures to discuss with sales, and get a quote for the actual traffic and integration scope before comparing total cost with a bridge-based or lead-tracking plan. 8

Where Ruler Analytics falls short

The documented route includes account authentication, conversion-action setup and onboarding coordination. The playbook tells users to contact their onboarding manager for automated API transfer. A team seeking an entirely self-directed switch should ask for a concrete setup walk-through and define who will own Google account permissions, event definitions and daily checks. 6

Migration difficulty

Start with one opportunity stage and one revenue event. Ruler says each tracked event needs a Google Ads offline conversion and that separate opportunity-stage events can be configured by the account manager. Map the CRM stages and click identifiers first, then compare the sent value and event date with the receiving conversion. This is a proposed validation sequence based on the vendor's setup instructions. 6

5. How to choose without confusing lead capture with conversion upload

Ask four questions in a vendor demonstration. First, which exact ad destination receives the later CRM outcome? Second, what identifier joins the original click to the lead? Third, which CRM field and trigger decide that an event is qualified, and can its value be updated? Fourth, what visible status or retry path tells the operator an upload failed? The saved pages give different partial answers: LeadsBridge names several non-Google destinations and counts events as bridges; WhatConverts documents GCLID, value triggers and errors; Ruler documents GCLID or GBRAID, API conversion actions and an automated daily transfer. 1246

The decision is therefore conditional. If Google Ads upload is mandatory today, inspect WhatConverts or Ruler with your own sample record and seek a live demonstration from LeadsBridge before treating its Google route as available. If Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn is the required destination, LeadsBridge's current Conversion Sync description is directly relevant. If the output must distinguish qualified lead, opportunity and revenue stages, Ruler's playbook gives those events explicit treatment; WhatConverts gives qualification and value triggers in its Google documentation. 146

FAQ

Does LeadsBridge currently document Google offline conversion upload as available?
Its August 2026 integration guide directs readers interested in Google Offline Conversions integrations to a waiting list. Verify an active route with LeadsBridge before making Google the reason to buy. 1
Can WhatConverts send only qualified leads to Google Ads?
Its Google Ads help page lists a Quotable trigger, plus sales-value and quote-value triggers. It also describes the conversion statuses used to inspect what was sent or failed. 4
Which click identifiers does Ruler describe for Google Ads?
Ruler says it captures GCLID and GBRAID from landing-page URLs and can send offline conversions using either identifier when specified events occur. 6
Do these products charge for the same unit?
The pages describe different units: LeadsBridge counts each Offline Conversion API event as a bridge; WhatConverts' single-account Plus table includes a usage credit; Ruler says its indicative pricing scales with monthly traffic and integration needs. Compare a real event, account and traffic inventory rather than one headline number. 258

How we researched this

We read the vendors' own integration, help and pricing pages on October 12, 2026. The comparison uses published product descriptions and setup steps, not a hands-on test of a connected account. Where LeadsBridge's broad copy and specific Google waitlist line differ, we use the specific current limitation. Pricing is the vendor's published plan table and remains subject to the exact usage and configuration. Every claim above maps to a saved, URL-first page snapshot and fact ID. 12345678
