Intent Data Vendor Costs in
Compare what you actually buy.
The short answer
A reliable dollar comparison of 6sense, Demandbase and Bombora is not possible from the evidence captured here. What can be compared is the contract boundary: 6sense's support documentation says its Data Packs require a platform subscription, Demandbase distinguishes its own intent from separately licensed partner data, and Bombora describes seats within Company Surge contracts. One 6sense marketing page conflicts with its support article, so verify current terms directly before budgeting.
- For 6sense, ask about the required platform, bundled data, delivery cadence and setup effort. 1
- For Demandbase, distinguish native Demandbase Intent from a separately paid Bombora or G2 license. 3
- For Bombora, ask how many Market Insights seats and intent topics your contract covers, not just whether a seat exists. 4
1. Compare units before comparing price
An intent-data quote can cover a platform, a data feed, user access, implementation, delivery infrastructure, or an integration with another provider. Treating all three names as identical subscriptions produces a misleading table. Demandbase's own documentation is a useful example: it says Demandbase Intent is available to Demandbase users at no extra charge, while Bombora Intent within Demandbase needs a separate paid license. Neither statement gives the total price of acquiring or operating Demandbase. 3
The right purchasing question is not simply, 'What is the monthly fee?' Ask what signal is licensed, whether the license requires a base platform, what data leaves the platform, how often it arrives, and which people can use it. Add the cost of implementation and the work of maintaining topic definitions and activation rules. The public documentation below supports some of those inclusions, but it does not establish a like-for-like annual contract value.
2. 6sense: clarify a contradiction before signing
6sense's support document says one-time, à-la-carte Data Pack purchases ended as of September 2025 and that Data Packs now require an active ABM Platform or Intent Platform subscription. It also says Keyword and Web Intent are bundled for new purchases. Those statements define an important commercial dependency, but they are not a numeric quote and do not specify your negotiated scope. 1
There is a genuine conflict: 6sense's public Data Packs marketing page still says its packs are sold à la carte. The two official pages cannot both describe the same current purchasing route without further qualification. For a 2026 procurement decision, ask 6sense for a dated order form or written clarification identifying which products can be purchased without which platform. Do not assume the marketing page's simpler description overrides the later packaging update in support. 12
Operational details belong in the cost conversation. The support document lists SFTP, Amazon S3 and Snowflake as delivery options. It says Keyword Intent delivery is weekly or monthly, while Web Intent can be daily, weekly or monthly. A faster feed is not automatically worth more to every buyer. If the sales team acts only weekly, a daily file may create operational work without a useful decision advantage. Ask for the exact cadence and file destination in the quote. 1
Where 6sense falls short
The issue in this evidence set is not a proven product weakness. It is purchasing ambiguity between 6sense's support and marketing pages. Pause any claim about a standalone à-la-carte purchase until the vendor resolves that conflict for your account. 12
Migration difficulty
Map which existing data feeds, warehouse destinations and activation rules would change. The documented delivery routes and different Keyword versus Web cadence mean migration may involve both integration and reporting work. Test one real account cohort before committing a full workflow. 1
3. Demandbase: native signal versus partner license
Demandbase support says its users have access to Demandbase Intent at no extra charge. That wording is about an inclusion for an existing user, not a claim that the overall platform costs nothing. It also documents integrations with Bombora, G2 and TrustRadius as third-party intent partners. Demandbase says Bombora Intent in its platform requires a separate paid license, and G2 Intent requires a separate paid license whose available signals depend on the G2 subscription level. 3
This is where many budget spreadsheets fail: 'Demandbase Intent' and 'Bombora in Demandbase' are different line items. Ask the seller to identify exactly which signal appears in the demo, then map that signal to the order form and its rights of use. If a workflow uses partner data, confirm whether the partner contract, the Demandbase contract or both control usage, export and renewal. Do not compare an included native signal with a separately licensed partner feed as though the units were equal. 3
Where Demandbase falls short
The captured support page does not give a complete platform contract total. More importantly, the presence of a partner integration does not mean the partner data is included. A buyer should request a quote that itemizes native access and every partner license relevant to the intended workflow. 3
Migration difficulty
First decide whether the target process needs Demandbase's own Intent or data from a separate provider. Demandbase explicitly documents partner integrations and separate paid licenses for Bombora and G2. Rebuild only one segment and one activation rule in a pilot; compare the resulting account list with the current process before changing every team's playbook. 3
4. Bombora: seat rights and signal design
Bombora's Market Insights guide says every Company Surge customer has at least one Market Insights seat in its contract and that additional seats can be purchased through a customer success manager. This is an inclusion statement, not a price for Company Surge and not a guarantee that unlimited users or exports are included. Ask how many analysts and sellers need direct access, who can redistribute outputs, and whether an integration or additional license is needed. 4
The operational unit also matters. Bombora's guide asks users to gather relevant intent topics and apply targeting parameters such as domains, locations and timeframe. Its score guidance says a score of 60 or more on a topic counts as spiking and recommends a topic threshold of at least 25% of the topics in a report or cluster. These are vendor-defined signal controls, not a promise that a spiking account will buy. A quote is more useful when paired with an example topic set and a target-account sample. 45
Where Bombora falls short
The cited documentation establishes one included seat and the mechanics of topic-based signals, but it does not establish the price of additional seats or a full Company Surge contract. Do not treat one included seat as a free plan. 45
Migration difficulty
Build the replacement topic list before the data migration. Bombora recommends topic thresholds and defines scores against a historical activity baseline. A migration that changes topics or thresholds changes the signal itself, so compare old and new account lists over a fixed period rather than interpreting every difference as a quality improvement. 5
5. A quote request that yields comparable answers
Send each vendor the same short brief: geography, account count, intent topics or keywords, activation channels, required seats, warehouse or CRM destination, refresh cadence and contract term. Ask for a line-item quote separating base access, signal license, user seats, partner data, onboarding, API or feed delivery and renewal. Ask whether your intended use allows exporting and retaining historical data. These are procurement questions, not claims that any vendor charges for every item.
Then run a blind sample against a fixed target-account list. Measure coverage, overlap, freshness and whether the signal changes a real sales or marketing decision. Keep the vendor's signal definition in the analysis: Bombora's topic score and threshold are not the same unit as a 6sense Keyword Intent file or Demandbase's native Intent. Do not divide three unlike contract prices by an invented universal 'intent lead' count. 135

How we researched this
We captured five first-party documentation pages from 6sense, Demandbase and Bombora on October 1, 2026. We also attempted a headless render of a vendor pricing page; the browser process failed, so this article contains no dollar-price or paid-tier figure. The 6sense page conflict is disclosed rather than silently resolved. Product inclusions are attributed to each vendor and should be confirmed in a current order form.
