Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how Modern Leads (operated by Modern Inbound) handles refund requests for subscriptions and credit purchases. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1.Credits Are Non-Refundable
All credit (coin) top-up purchases are final and non-refundable once the transaction is completed. Credits are immediately available in your account upon purchase and are consumed as you use the enrichment service.
We do not offer partial refunds for unused credits. Unused credits remain in your account and roll over indefinitely while your subscription is active. If your subscription expires, credits are retained for a 60-day grace period. After 60 days without reactivation, unused credits are forfeited.
Enrichment lookups: If our system cannot find a valid email or phone number, the credits for that lookup are automatically refunded to your account. This is our zero-risk guarantee — you only pay for results.
SDR Research: Research credits (7 coins per research) are charged upon initiation and are not refundable regardless of the research outcome, as compute resources are consumed during the research process.
2.Subscription Cancellations
- Cancel anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- No refund for the current period: When you cancel, you will not receive a refund for the current billing period. Your subscription and access to the service will remain active until the end of that billing period.
- Access after cancellation: After cancellation takes effect, you will lose access to the platform. Your account data may be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Recurring charges: Cancelling your subscription stops all future billing. No further charges will be made after the current period ends.
3.Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Razorpay. Charges will appear on your bank or card statement as Razorpay or Modern Inbound. We transact in Indian Rupees (INR).
We do not store your full card details. Payment data is handled securely by Razorpay in accordance with Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
4.Service Outage Exception
If Modern Leads experiences a verified and extended service outage (generally defined as the core enrichment service being unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours), you may be eligible for a partial refund or credit adjustment on a case-by-case basis.
To request consideration under this exception, contact us at rishabh@moderninbound.com within 14 days of the outage, providing details of the issue and its impact on your use. We will review each request individually and respond within 10 business days.
Planned maintenance windows, brief interruptions, and third-party data provider issues do not qualify as extended service outages under this exception.
5.Billing Errors
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly (e.g., double-charged or charged after cancellation), contact us at rishabh@moderninbound.com with your account details and a description of the issue. We will investigate and, if a billing error is confirmed, issue a correction promptly.
